Ｖトーシスは、メスを利用して皮膚を切ることなどによって行うリフトアップの手術と比較して、体へのダメージがみられることがないため、治療後のケアをしやすくなっています。Ｖトーシスのダウンタイムは、1週間ほどであるとされています。ダウンタイム期間中に腫れや痛みが生じる場合がありますが、軽度のものになっています。腫れや痛みが辛いと感じた場合には、少し冷やすなどのアフターケアをすることで、腫れや痛みを和らげることができます。しかし、あまり冷やし過ぎてしまうと、施術した部位の治りが遅くなってしまうため、あまり冷やしすぎないように注意する必要があります。腫れなどによる痛みが強すぎる場合には、痛みなどを服用してケアすることも可能であり、他のリフトアップの施術に比べてケアしやすくなっています。しばらく時間がたつと、糸がある部分の皮膚が、皮膚を保護しようとする効果によって、コラーゲンなどの美肌効果を高めるものが多量に生成されるため、アンチエイジングに効果的です。
