トラコンハムラ法の施術には入院は必要ありません。しかし当日はかなり腫れる場合が多く、サングラスは必須といえます。また視野が妨げられるので、車の運転は危険です。メイクやシャワーは翌日から可能ですが、入浴や激しい運動は1週間ほど控える必要があります。ダウンタイム中はコンタクトレンズは装用できません。飲酒や喫煙も避けたほうが良いでしょう。痛みや内出血がある場合は、1～2週間で治まるとされています。これは標準的なケースであり、ドクターの腕によっては、もっと時間がかかることもあります。リスクを避けたいなら、確かな実績のあるクリニックで施術を受けることです。
