セルリバイブ（W-PRP）は最新の技術を応用した美容医療のひとつです。自分自身の血液を採取し、遠心分離機にかけて成分を抽出、それを皮膚に注射するという方法を用います。血液に含まれる成分のうち、セルリバイブ（W-PRP）で使用するのは血小板と白血球です。血小板には線維芽細胞や上皮細胞などを活性化する因子が大量に含まれており、ケガをしたとき傷を修復する働きがあります。これを皮下に注射することで、衰えた皮下組織が若返り、シワやたるみ・ほうれい線などを解消する効果が期待できます。従来のPRP療法は血小板だけを使用していましたが、セルリバイブ（W-PRP）では細菌を退治する白血球を加え、血小板の濃縮率を上げることにより、効果を高めているのが特徴です。自分自身の血液が原料なので、アレルギーや拒絶反応を起こす心配がなく、内出血もほとんど起こらないとされていますが、ドクターの技術力にも依存するので注意が必要です。
治療後1～2年ほどで徐々に効果がなくなってくる
従来のPRP療法に比べて、セルリバイブ（W-PRP）は効果が現れるまでの時間が短く（2週間～1か月程度）、ダウンタイムもほとんどないと言われています。ただし治療後1～2年ほどで徐々に効果がなくなってくるため、長続きさせたいときは継続して治療を受けなければなりません。1回あたりの治療費は20万円程度からとなります。
