Vビームレーザーは、レーザー光を照射することによりヘモグロビンという赤い色素に反応後、吸収されます。この方法により、顔の赤らみ、ケロイド、赤あざ、ニキビ防止やニキビ痕の除去、いぼの除去などの治療ができます。治療も5分～10分程度と短い時間で済みます。Vビームレーザーはヘモグロビンにのみ反応する為、他の箇所を傷つけ無くて済むといったことがメリットとして挙げられます。また機械の設定を変更することにより、目もとの小じわの除去や、コラーゲンの生成を促すことによって肌にハリを与えるといった効果も期待できます。一方でVビームレーザーにはリスクも存在します。この方法で治療を行う場合は、赤い色素なのか通常のシミなのかを的確に判断してレーザーを照射する必要があります。したがって高度な技術と経験、そして知識を持つ担当医を選ぶことがまず大前提になります。その他にも、あらゆるリスクを予め知っておくことはとても重要です。
施術後の内出血や腫れ
まずVビームレーザーによる治療は1回で完結するものではありません。施術が完了するまでには2、3週間の間隔をあけて、最低でも3回は通院することが必要です。またダウンタイムと呼ばれる、施術後の内出血や腫れといった症状が継続する時間が1～4週間と長いこともリスクとして挙げられます。Vビームレーザーを受けた人でよくみられる術後の症状は紫色のあざです。この様な状態が続く場合は改めて担当医に相談することが必要です。その他、Vビームレーザーには失敗のリスクもあるのも事実です。施術を受けても効果が見られなかったというのはもちろん失敗ですが、それ以上に肌に炎症が発生した事例もあります。例えば、レーザーを照射したことによってシミができてしまった、膿がでてきてしまったといった副作用を訴える声が見られました。この施術方法を選択する場合はこのようなリスクがあることを知っておき、技術が確かなクリニックを選ぶことが非常に重要です。
