トラコンハムラ法とは、目の下のたるみを改善するための手術法です。この方法は、ハムラ法を応用したものですが、ハムラ法が皮膚を切開する必要があるのに対して、トラコンハムラ法は、表面を切らない手術法です。
下まぶたの裏側の結膜側にごく小さな穴を開けて、余分な脂肪をくぼみのある部分に移動させるというものです。皮膚を切らないので傷跡も残りませんし、身体への負担も少なくて済みます。
これは、目の下のたるみが比較的軽い方や、余分な脂肪が少ない方に向いている手術ですが、傷を一切残さずに目の下のたるみを解消できますし、1度の施術で半永久的な効果が望めます。それに、切開しない分だけダウンタイムも短くて済むのです。

そのため、担当する医師の経験や実績によっては失敗する恐れもあります。そのため、いくつかのデメリットが存在しています。
例えば、脂肪が移動したことで、脂肪で膨らませていた部分に逆に小じわが増えることもありますし、目の下のたるみが余計に膨らんで見えることもあります。
