美容皮膚科で一般的に行われている顔のリフトアップの手法には大きく、切開を伴う方法と伴わない方法があります。スプリングスレッドリフトは切開を伴わないリフトアップの手法の一つで、スプリングスレッドと呼ばれるポリエステルとシリコンでできた伸縮性のある糸をつかって顔のリフトアップを行い、肌のハリと艶を回復させます。切開をしない方法を選択する最も大きなメリットは、施術を受けた後の顔の皮膚のダメージが少ないことですが、術後のアフターケアをしっかり行わなければ、顔の皮膚の状態が術前より悪化してしまう場合があります。肌の若返りをはかるために施術を受けた意味がなくなってしまわないように、アフターケアは怠らないようにしたいものです。
スプリングスレッドリフトは切開を伴わない手法だとはいえ、実際にはスプリングスレッドを通すための穴をつくるために若干皮膚を切開します。このため、人によっては施術後に麻酔の効果が切れてきた頃から痛みを感じることがあるため、美容皮膚科では施術後にアフターケア用に痛み止めと化膿止めの薬を処方します。この薬は必ず医師の指示にしたがって使いきらなければなりません。
薬以外のアフターケアもとても大事
スプリングスレッドリフトの術後の経過を良いものにするには、薬以外のアフターケアもとても大事です。もっとも重要なことは切開した部分を擦ったりしないことで、強くこすりつけてしまうと、傷口が広がったり、内出血が生じたり、赤みや腫れがおさまるのが遅くなることがあります。きちんとアフターケアを行っていれば、スプリングスレッドリフトによる皮膚のダメージは術後1週間程度でほとんどなくなりますが、内出血を伴うと施術前の顔の状態に回復するまでに2週間以上かかる場合があります。赤みや腫れ、痛みがひどい場合は、冷たいタオルや保冷剤をつかうと、はやく症状を改善させることができます。
スプリングスレッドリフトの効果は、きちんと施術を受けられていれば3年以上続くといわれています。しかし、医師の指示にしたがってアフターケアをしっかりと行わなければ、リフトアップの効果を実感できず、短期間で再び美容皮膚科でリフトアップの施術を受けなければならなくなります。
