スプリングアプトスによる失敗で多いのは、顔の引きつり、頭皮がハゲる、効果が出ないことです。
スプリングアプトスは糸の中心に向かって伸縮する糸なので、顔の中央がふっくらして立体感のある作りにできる、大学病院などの外科手術でも使われていて安全性が高いというメリットがありますが、医師の技術力次第では引き上げすぎや頭皮がハゲる、などのトラブルが起こることがあります。
また、糸だけだと引き上げ効果が弱くて効果が出ないという事態になってしまうこともあります。
これに対しての修正は、顔の引きつりに関しては医師の技術力が不足している可能性が高いので他院修正を専門にしているところに頼んだほうが良いでしょう。
頭皮がハゲてしまった場合は、その部分に植毛をするという方法があります。たいていは自身の後頭部や側頭部から毛髪を採取してきて、ハゲた部分に移植する自毛植毛手術が適用になります。
効果がなかった場合は、一度糸を取り除いてやり直す必要があります。

糸を抜くと言っても、スプリングアプトスはまっすぐな糸ではないので、抜くときにも技術力が要ります。
無理やり抜いてしまえば目立つ傷が残ってしまう可能性があります。
修正は基本的には施術を受けたクリニックに相談することができますが、取り合ってもらえないこともあります。また、失敗されたクリニックでまた手術を受けたくないという場合もあるでしょう。
その場合には、他院修正という他のクリニックでの失敗を修正してくれるクリニックを受診するのがベターです。
スプリングアプトスは糸で留めるだけなので手軽な治療と思われがちですが、皮下に異物を入れる以上はなんらかのリスクはあります。
スプリングアプトスは時間が経てば吸収されるので放っておいても3〜5年で効果がなくなりますが、それまで待てない、生活に支障が出ている、という場合には早めに相談しましょう。
