スプリングアプトスは糸の中心に向かって伸縮する糸なので、顔の中央がふっくらして立体感のある作りにできる、大学病院などの外科手術でも使われていて安全性が高いというメリットがありますが、医師の技術力次第では引き上げすぎや頭皮がハゲる、などのトラブルが起こることがあります。
また、糸だけだと引き上げ効果が弱くて効果が出ないという事態になってしまうこともあります。

スプリングアプトスは時間が経てば吸収されるので放っておいても3〜5年で効果がなくなりますが、それまで待てない、生活に支障が出ている、という場合には早めに相談しましょう。
