ＳＯＯＦリフトにおけるリスクとしては、第一に見た目の変化がないことや傷跡が目立つといったものがあります。これらは、見た目の問題であり日常生活に支障を来すことはありませんが、問題が出るものとしては、ひきつれやしびれなどがあります。ひきつれやしびれは手術によって神経を傷つけた可能性があり再生そのものが困難な後遺症になります。
