顔の脂肪注入のデメリットは、難易度が高く、失敗すると修正が難しいところです。
最大の問題は、しこりができてしまうことです。最新の方法ではしこりができにくくなっていますが、それでも失敗する確率が0というわけではありません。
採取した脂肪をどんな方法で処理したにしても、しこりのリスクが0になるわけではありません。

しかし、その反面で失敗してしまうとヒアルロン酸注射などと違って、一生そのままの形になってしまうというデメリットがあります。
ヒアルロン酸であれば1〜2年で吸収されて元に戻ってしまいますが、自分の皮下脂肪を用いて顔の脂肪吸引をした場合には、そのままくっついてしまいます。
イメージしていたようなデザインにならなかった場合には、修正するのが難しくなります。
顔の脂肪注入は、基本的にしこりが残ってしまう治療法です。ただししこりが想定内で対処可能な場所、量であればそれほど問題はありません。
問題があるのは、想定外で対処できないような場所や量になってしまった場合です。
どれくらいしこりができてしまうかは、手術を受けてみない限りはっきりとはわかりません。なるべく成功率を上げるためには、クリニックの技術力の高さやどんな手術を得意としているのかを把握しておくことが大切です。
