Qスイッチ・ルビ―レーザーは効果の高い治療法ですが、肝斑に対しては使用できません。かえって濃くなってしまう可能性があるので、別の治療法を用いる必要があります。シミの種類に詳しく、いろいろな治療法を知っている医師に診断を受けることが重要です。また照射後は紫外線に対して敏感になるため、UVケアをしっかりと行なう必要があります。かさぶたが取れた後のピンク色の状態のときは、特に気をつけなければなりません。
Qスイッチ・ルビ―レーザーは施術時に一定の痛みを感じます。輪ゴムで弾かれた程度の痛みと言われていますが、必要なら局所麻酔や冷却麻酔で緩和できます。ただし皮膚炎の方や過敏症の方などには使用できないケースもあるので、医師に相談してください。万一施術に失敗した場合、豊富な症例を経験しているクリニックなら、適切に修正することも可能です。アフターケアや保証の有無も含めて、施術前に確認しておくことが大切です。
