まず、ミントリフトに使用する糸は溶ける糸を使用しているため、糸が吸収されてしまうとリフトアップ効果も弱まります。体内に残る心配がない代わりに、効果の長続きは期待できません。
個人差がありますが、大抵、1年ほどで溶けてなくなってしまいます。糸の周りにコラーゲンが生成され、弾力があるのですぐにたるむということはありませんが、次第にたるんできます。また、強度の高い糸を挿入することにより強い引きつり感が出る可能性もあります。そして、挿入した糸が吸収される前に切れてしまう可能性があります。
