一方でヒアルロン酸注射やボトックス注射の頬リフトの場合は、注射によって行なわれるので、それほどアフターケアに留意する必要はありませんが、体内に吸収される物質とはいえ異物が皮膚内に留まっているため炎症のリスクがゼロではないため経過観察が重要になってきます。
いずれにしても異常が認められる場合には医師の診察を受けることでそれ以上の症状の悪化を防ぐことができます。
