フェイスリフトアップとは、顔の皮膚を何らかの方法で引っ張りあげることで、たるみやしわをなくすものです。フェイスリフトアップはさまざまな方法があり、また部位によってそれぞれの効果の特徴があります。その部位のひとつが頬部分で行う頬リフトです。頬の部分の皮膚を引っ張りあげることで、しわのほかほうれい線や下まぶたのたるみなどを改善することができます。このため効果の高いフェイスリフトアップであるため、さまざまな術式があります。一般的な方法では皮膚を切除して縫合するものです。また糸を頬に挿入して引っ張りあげるものなどもあります。このほかレーザーや高周波を用いて皮膚を活性化させるものやヒアルロン酸やボトックス注射なども効果があります。
特に切ったり、糸を挿入するタイプのほかレーザーや高周波を用いる頬リフトの方法では肌へのダメージが大きいため術後の経過が重要になってきます。このためアフターケアに留意する必要があります。
炎症のリスクがゼロではないため経過観察が重要
頬リフトのアフターケアはその術式によって変わってきます。切るタイプの方法では縫合場所が癒着するまで過度な運動を避けるべきですし、炎症のリスクもあるため抗生物質を服用した方がそのリスクを下げることができます。一方で糸を挿入したものでも同様で、特に糸で引張りあげている関係上、糸が安定するまで過度な刺激を与えないようにしなければなりません。
レーザーや高周波の場合には皮膚にダメージを与えることでその回復を促すというものであり、照射後から１週間程度は赤みが出ることになります。また肌は弱くなっている状態ですので、保湿も重要になってきます。
一方でヒアルロン酸注射やボトックス注射の頬リフトの場合は、注射によって行なわれるので、それほどアフターケアに留意する必要はありませんが、体内に吸収される物質とはいえ異物が皮膚内に留まっているため炎症のリスクがゼロではないため経過観察が重要になってきます。
いずれにしても異常が認められる場合には医師の診察を受けることでそれ以上の症状の悪化を防ぐことができます。
