友人や家族、会社の上司などとコミュニケーションをとる為に顔を合わせる行為は必要不可欠であり、目元や口元の仕草により他人に与える印象は異なります。人の顔の造りは様々であり容貌によって相手に与える雰囲気は良くも悪くも様々です。好印象を与えるのであれば問題ないですが、人によって自分の容姿にコンプレックスを抱いており整形手術を試みようと考えます。現在クリニックを初めとした医療機関で様々な種類の整形手術が行え、数十年前と比べて美容外科に対する技術は進化したと言えます。加齢などにより目元のたるみを改善する手術の一つにブローリフトいう方法があります。眉毛からまぶたの距離が短い、まつげの下まで皮膚が垂れ下がって視野の妨げになって困ってる人に適してる手術でありメスなどを使って余計な皮膚を取り除きます。医療機関によりますがブローリフトにかかる手術時間は1時間も満たず短期間で仕上げられ、施術後の皮膚の腫れなど約1週間ほどで引くという比較的手軽な整形方法と言えるでしょう。しかし一見手軽に行えそうに見えるものの、デメリットも少なからず存在します。
一度失敗すると修正が非常に困難
ブローリフトを行うことで垂れ下がった皮膚を除去すると、見た目が若々しく明るい印象に変身することができます。また余計な皮膚を直接切除するため、今ままで垂れた皮膚を遮ろうと無理に目を開いて額のシワを増やす必要がなくなる他、視野が広がるメリットがあります。しかしデメリットも多く存在し、まずは物理的に皮膚を取り除くため一度失敗すると修正が非常に困難な点が挙げられます。また切開により手術後傷跡が残りやすく、目元であるため切った跡が目立ちやすい点もリスクとして挙げられます。ブローリフトは微妙な調整を必要とする手術の一つであるため、経験が浅い医師では少なからず失敗のリスクが生じる恐れがあります。瞼が閉じない、化膿する、皮膚のたるみが残ってたり眉毛の位置の左右差が生まれるなどのトラブルが生じるため注意が必要です。目元は顔の印象を左右する大切な場所であるため、手術前に自分が希望する容姿を医師にしっかり説明し手術に向かうことが大切です。また現在では多くの手術法が確立されてるためほかの整形方法を考えるのも一つの手段でしょう。
