ボトックス注入とは、ボツリヌス菌から抽出したタンパク質の一種であるボツリヌストキシンという成分を局所の神経と筋肉の間をブロックすることによって筋肉の収縮を弱める施術になります。

しかし、注意したいのはボトックスは時間の経過とともに吸収・排出されてしまうことで、効果がずっと継続するわけではなく、約6ヶ月程度で効果がなくなるとされています。
そのため、半年に1回程度は定期的に注入する必要があります。
