3Dリフトは体内に吸収される糸の両端に複数の円錐形のバイオコーンが取り付けられているもので、この糸を皮膚の下に挿入して肌を任意の方向に引っ張るというもので、これにより肌の張りを取り戻すことができます。バイオコーンによる引っ掛かりがあるため、糸の数も少なく済み、キープ力が強いメリットがあります。
また痛み、内出血、腫れといった術後の症状も切開して縫合するものに比べて小さいためダウンタイムも短く、また抜糸の必要もないので翌日からメイクをすることが可能です。一方で切開を伴わないのでプチ整形に分類されますが、費用の相場はプチ整形としては高めで３０万円から４０万円の費用が掛かります。また施術している美容クリニックの数も限られます。

3Dリフトは、切らない整形であるため、痛みや内出血、腫れといった症状がそれほど酷くないのがメリットとされます。また3Dリフトで使われる糸は体内に吸収されるので、術後に糸が残留することがなく将来の感染症のリスクが低くなりますし、また吸収された糸の周りにはコラーゲン層が作られるので美肌効果を得ることができます。一方で、3Dリフトの注意点としては糸を挿入する方向によって引張られる方向が決まるため施術には高い技量が求められます。またリフトアップを行う美容整形術全般に言えることですが、引張り過ぎることで不自然な表情になるリスクがありますし、また引張りが弱すぎると効果が出ないケースもあります。
一方でダウンタイムの時間は短く翌日からメイクができますが、体内に吸収される糸とはいえ術後１週間程度は安静にする必要があります。
それほど口元を使用しない環境であれば１日の休みでも術式を受けることは可能ですが糸の状態が安定する１週間程度は安静にできる状態にするのがベストといえます。
