1ｄａｙリフトとは、フェイスリフトの一種で糸でたるみを引き上げる美容整形術です。1ｄａｙリフトの名称があるように本格的な美容整形術ではなく、日帰りで行えるプチ整形になります。
仕組みとしては体内に吸収される糸を用いて皮膚の挿入して、引っ張り上げるというものです。挿入する場所としては頬からこめかみ辺りまでで、それぞれしわやたるみの状態に応じて調整されます。挿入する糸の本数もそれぞれの状態によって変化します。メリットは糸を挿入するだけなので痛みが少なく手術自体も標準的なものであれば１５分程度で終わります。また物理的に肌を引っ張り上げるため、術後すぐにその効果を実感することができますし、皮膚の切開を行わないのでダウンタイムが短時間で済みます。
一方でリスクとしては医師の技量によって糸の形が皮膚に出てしまったり、また内出血する可能性がありますが、体内に吸収される糸であるため、１週間程度で目立たなくなります。

1ｄａｙリフトは、大きな切開を必要としないため傷跡が残らないこと、また手術の時間が短く日帰りで受けられるため本格的な美容整形に比べて費用が少なくて済むといったことなどがあります。一方で1ｄａｙリフトでも医療行為であるためリスクも存在します。
リスクとしては医師の技量によって引き起こされるケースがほとんどです。皮膚を引っ張り上げるため神経を傷つける可能性は、切開する方法よりも低いですが、それでも失敗すると引き連れが起こる可能性があります。また引っ張り上げる力が弱いとリフトアップの効果を得られないケースもあります。また糸の方向によってはリフトアップした周囲に悪影響を及ぼす可能性があり、耳が立って見えたりする可能性もあります。このため糸を使ってどの程度引っ張り上げることができるのかを十分に理解した医師を選ぶことが重要です。一方で糸は体内に吸収される糸が使われるため効果そのものが限定的ですので切開をともなうリフトアップに比べて大きな失敗は少なめです。
