Vビームレーザーでは、合併症があることも認識をしておく必要があります。まず、内出血があり、通常は施術後2～3週間程度で自然に吸収されますが、症状によっては化粧でも隠しきれない場合があります。次に、腫れがあります。患部は照射をされることで一時的に膨張することになり、周囲には若干むくんだ印象を与えてしまうことになります。3つ目としては炎症後色素沈着があり、原因としては、照射熱による皮膚の炎症があります。炎症後に色素沈着を起こすことになり、消滅はするものの、それには数ヵ月の期間が必要になります。
