ハムラ法と異なり、結膜側からアプローチするため、術後は内出血が起こるくらいで、傷跡が残りにくいというメリットがあります。

傷跡が目立たないということで裏ハムラ法はハムラ法に比べてメリットが大きそうですが、結膜側から切開するため、手術視野が狭くなってしまうというデメリットがあります。
