美容整形でも顔の印象を変えるためのさまざまな治療法がありますが、そのひとつで目の下のたるみを改善するのがハムラ法と呼ばれるものです。ハムラ法は、目の下を切開してたるみの原因となっている脂肪を移動させることで改善させようというものです。通常のハムラ法では、表面から行う方法ですが、裏ハムラ法では、下まぶたの内側である結膜側から行う違いがあります。表面から行うハムラ法では目立たない程度に傷跡が残ってしまいますが、裏ハムラ法は普段の状態では見えない下まぶたの内側から行うため傷跡がまったく表から見えないのがメリットといえます。
一方で、裏ハムラ法の場合には普段は見えない場所を切開して縫合するというものであるため、アフターケアが重要になってきます。

裏ハムラ法のメリットは、下まぶたの裏側から切開するということであり、傷跡が普段の状態では見えないという点です。反面で縫合する場所が見えない場所にあるため、アフターケアが重要になってきます。
裏ハムラ法の術後のトラブルとしてあげられるのが、触ったりすることで脂肪が移動してしまったり、また縫合した糸が露出するといったケースものです。ハムラ法では脂肪を移動させるだけの手術であるため安定するまでの間はできるだけ刺激を与えないようにする必要があります。一方で縫合した糸は体内に吸収される糸が用いられますが、吸収されるまでの１年程度の時間は必要で、その間は薄い瞼の中に存在し続けることになります。しっかりと縫合してあっても時間の経過とともに緩んでくることもあり、それらが露出するケースもあります。
特に問題なのが裏ハムラ法では、再手術による修正が困難であるということで安定するまでの間は刺激を与えないようにアフターケアに気をつける必要があります。
