シミやそばかすをクリームできれいにできるのがトレチノイン・ハイドロキノンです。これを塗るだけでシミをなかったことにできることから、シミ取りするならこの方法と考えている女性は多いようです。
そもそもトレチノイン・ハイドロキノンでシミが消せるのはターンオーバーを強制するからです。トレチノインには肌のターンオーバーを強制する作用があります。シミというのは肌内部に残ったメラニン色素の残骸です。本来であればターンオーバーとともに徐々に肌上部に押し上げられて最終的に垢となって排出されるメラニンが、ターンオーバーが乱れることで肌内部に残ったままになることがあります。それがそのまま色素沈着したものがシミなのです。トレチノインはターンオーバーを促すことから、内部に残ったメラニン式の排出を促し、その結果シミが治るというわけです。
ただ、トレチノイン・ハイドロキノンを使った治療法は絶対にうまくいくとは限りません。それなりのリスクも伴うのです。
トレチノイン・ハイドロキノンのリスクとは
トレチノイン・ハイドロキノンのリスクとは、シミが治るどころか悪化したり、一回り大きくなる可能性がある点です。ターンオーバーを促すというと聞こえがいいですが、実際は皮がむけるわけです。皮がむけることでシミも一緒になかったことになるというわけです。もちろん皮がむけるといっても、厚くむけるわけではなく、例えるなら日焼けし過ぎたと時のような感じです。そのため治療中の見た目はよくないですし、肌は敏感になっているので扱いも慎重にならないといけません。ここで適当に扱うと、肌がダメージを受けてシミが悪化したり増える可能性があるからです。
またトレチノイン・ハイドロキノンのリスクとしてハイドロキノンによるアレルギーが考えられます。強い成分なので肌に合わずに炎症を起こすことがあります。皮むけの際の色素沈着を防ぐ目的で使用するハイドロキノンですが、肌に合わずに使っていると炎症が長引き、それが逆に色素沈着となり、シミが一回り大きくなることもあります。
