ロアーリフトとは、頬から首元にかけてのリフトアップを行う手術のことです。
年齢とともに頬の筋肉が弱ってしまうことで、頬が垂れてしまい、輪郭が四角くなってしまうことで、顔が大きく見えてしまったり、老けて見えてしまうということが起こります。
このような状態を改善するのに向いているのが、ロアーリフトです。
耳から前へリフトアップしていく方法で手術が行われますが、大きな効果を求める場合にはリフトアップと同時に脂肪吸引を行う場合があります。
この場合耳から前へ１０センチ程度切り、そこから脂肪吸引も行います。
医師の腕によって、仕上がりの状態が左右されるので、医師選びがとても重要になってきます。
未熟な医師による手術によって、傷口が目立ってしまったり、左右非対称になってしまったなどのトラブルもあります。
また雑な手術の場合、もみあげの位置が変わってしまったり、耳たぶが変形してしまうという恐れもあります。

すっきりとしたフェイスラインで、逆三角形のあごのラインが戻ってくることで、自信が持てるようになるので、表情や性格が明るくなったり、外に出るのが楽しくなったりという効果もあります。
しかし、メスを使った手術なので、ダウンタイムも２週間前後と長めに必要になります。
その間、痛みが出たり、はれたりする場合があるので、医師の指示にきちんと従ってケアしましょう。
