ニュートンコグリフト（N-COG）は「切らないフェイスリフト」と呼ばれるたるみを改善するための治療法であり、年齢を問わず若い世代からも人気がある治療法です。
ニュートンコグリフト（N-COG）は従来行われていたリフトアップ術とは違って、棘がジグザグに入った特殊な糸を使用しているために皮膚組織に絡まりやすくなっているので、棘の部分が皮膚組織と絡み合う力が非常に強く、顔全体を強い力でリフトアップさせることを可能にしています。

また、ニュートンコグリフト（N-COG）は効果がすぐに発揮されますし、治療で使う糸は2年程度で吸収されるので、効果がヒアルロン酸注入などのプチ整形よりも持続します。
メスを使わない「切らないフェイスリフト」ですから、針の穴程度の傷で傷跡が残らずダウンタイムも少ない治療法ですが、リスクもあるのでその点は注意が必要です。
内出血や腫れが起こるリスクは少ない
ニュートンコグリフト（N-COG）は「メスを使わない治療法でたるみを改善したい」という方に適した治療法と言えますが、リフトアップ効果もすぐに実感できて体への負担も少ないなどのメリットがある一方で、皮膚が薄い方は特に麻痺や引きつれなどといった術後のトラブルが起こりやすいとも言われています。
