ヒアルロン酸を注入する目の上のくぼみの美容整形では、まぶたのくぼんだ部分にヒアルロン酸を注入することで、ふっくらとしたまぶたに修正することができます。

切開法では、治療の際、筋肉を切除する場合があるため、それが上まぶたをよりくぼませてしまうことが考えられます。
埋没法は、安価な料金と短い時間で自然な二重を手に入れることができるのが特長で、それほど目立つくぼみでなければ、この方法が効果的です。
ただ、重度のくぼみの場合は、眼瞼下垂症が疑われるため、埋没法は用いられません。
この場合は、ヒアルロン酸や脂肪を注入する目の上のくぼみの美容整形を行うと、目が開けにくいというような状況が起こるリスクが考えられるため、眼瞼下垂症手術が行われます。
