マクロピールとはサリチル酸マクロゴールを使ったケミカルピーリングで、古い角質を取ることで美肌効果が期待できる施術です。毛穴の開きや黒ずみ、ニキビやニキビ跡、シミやそばかす、くすみといったお肌の悩みを改善することが出来ます。
ピーリングと言えば角質を削るため術後の肌トラブルも多いですが、マクロピールに関しては従来のものと異なり、皮膚の深部へは浸透されず角質のみに反応するため皮膚が赤くなったり皮が剥けるような事は起きません。したがってお肌が弱い人にでも行うことが出来る施術です。
また、毛穴の中に入り込んで均一に角質を除去できる薬剤は現状サリチル酸マクロゴールしかありません。表皮と毛穴だけに剥離作用が働くので、毛穴を引き締め毛穴の中の汚れを取り除くことが出来ます。合わせて、サリチル酸により美白効果が得られるのです。
さらに、マクロピールには副作用やダウンタイムもほぼないため、安全性が高く効果的なピーリングと言えます。

様々なお肌の悩みに効果が期待できるマクロピールですが、その施術の流れについては一般的に以下のようになります。
まずはメイクをしっかり落とし、念入りに洗顔をします。そこにピーリング剤がしみないように保護クリームを塗り、更に顔の油分を取るために脱脂液を塗ります。その後マクロピール用のピーリング剤を顔全体に満遍なく塗り、５～１０分ほどおいて角質を溶かします。この時に若干お肌がピリピリする可能性があります。その後ピーリング剤を拭き取り、冷却タオルにてお肌を５分ほど冷やします。最後に化粧水・乳液・日焼け止めを塗って終了です。クリニックによってはそのままメイクをしても大丈夫なところも多いです。
このように平均的な施術時間としては、３０分～１時間程度になります。だいたい、１か月に１回のペースで４～５回通うことでより美肌効果を実感出来ます。
１回あたりの料金相場は、１～２万円のところが多く気軽に出来る施術として人気があります。
