コラーゲンは生物の体内に存在している物質であり、特に哺乳類の皮膚に多く含まれています。人間も同様ですが、このコラーゲンは成長が終わると年齢とともに失われるもので、その結果、肌の張りが失われしわやたるみの原因となります。このためコラーゲンの補充が肌の張りを保つために必要であり、健康食品や化粧品などに広く使われるようになっています。一方で美容整形の分野では、より直接的にコラーゲンを皮膚に注入する治療法が行われています。
コラーゲン注入のメリットとしては、注射器で行うことができるので、切開が伴わずダウンタイムが短いことがあげられます。このためヒアルロン酸とともにプチ整形の代表的な物質となっています。一方でコラーゲン注入は短いものでは半年程度であり、また切開を伴わないとはいっても注入する量や場所によっては失敗するリスクがありますし、また効果を実感できないといったケースもあります。このためコラーゲン注入の失敗を避けるためには医師やクリニック選びが重要になります。
効果が持続するのは個人差がありますがだいたい３～６か月程度
コラーゲン注入の失敗例としては、注入する場所や量によって引き起こされます。特に多いのが仕上がり具合が良くなかったり、表面がデコボコになるといったことがあげられます。このためプチ整形とはいっても施術を行う前に十分なカウンセリングと仕上がりに関する説明を受けることが大切です。またアフターケアが整っているクリニックを選べば失敗したあとの修正を行ってくれるので安心して行えます。
一方でコラーゲン注入ではコラーゲンの質によってもリスクがあります。安価なものでは子牛由来のものが使われていますが、ヒト以外の動物の物質であるためアレルギー反応が出る可能性があります。通常は事前に検査を行ってから施術されますが、これを怠る医師も多く注意が必要です。またヒト由来のコラーゲンではアレルギー反応が出にくいメリットがありますが、まったく出ないわけではないので事前の検査が重要になります。
なお、患者の脂肪細胞を抽出してそこからコラーゲンを抽出する方法では、アレルギー反応が出ないメリットがありますが、費用が高額になります。

One thing I would like to say is the fact before getting more laptop memory, consider the machine directly into which it could well be installed. When the machine will be running Windows XP, for instance, the memory limit is 3.25GB. The installation of in excess of this would merely constitute a waste.
