こめかみリフトのアフターケアにおいては、クリニックやドクターの指示を守ることが基本です。どのような内容が言い渡されるかはクリニック、ドクターにより異なりますが、大まかなところは共通しています。まず術後は安静にしていること、清潔にしていることが一番です。食事に関しても、あまり刺激的なもの、胃に負担になるものは避けることが求められます。そしてもし、発熱や顔面にわたる腫れ、頭痛を伴うほどの強い痛みを感じた場合は、速やかにクリニックに連絡することが必要です。こめかみリフトを受けた後には、傷口を清潔に保つためテープなどで覆うことが一般的です。これは当然、術後、定期的に交換することが必要です。この辺りは自分で行うことが多いので、決められた頻度で交換する必要があります。その後、少しずつ症状がおさまっていくのが一般的ですが、それでも激しい運動や洗髪を行うことができるようになるまでには、だいたい1週間程度、必要となることが多いです。アフターケアにおいては、クリニックやドクターの協力は勿論のこと、自分で気をつけなければならない点もあると言うことも、注意点として把握しておかなければならないことです。
