経結膜的眼窩脂肪移動術とは、目の下のたるみを解消するための施術法です。目の下は年齢と共にたるんできて小じわが出来たり脂肪が膨らんだりします。ハムラ法では、皮膚を切開して脂肪を目の下のくぼみに移動させて余分な脂肪を切除することによって、たるみを解消していますが、その応用である経結膜的眼窩脂肪移動術では、下まぶたの裏の結膜部分に小さな穴を開けて脂肪をくぼみへと移動させることでたるみを解消します。そのため、余分な脂肪を切除することもありませんし、傷跡を一切残さなくて済みます。つまり、余計な負担をかけずに、これまでたるんだ皮膚のせいで老けて見えたり疲れて見えていた目元を、スッキリと若返らせることが出来るのです。このようなメリットが存在する施術ですが、ダウンタイムは実際にどのぐらい続くのでしょうか。そして、痛みや内出血や腫れなどに関しては、それぞれどの程度のものであり、どのように対処すればいいのでしょうか。
ダウンタイムは比較的短い方
経結膜的眼窩脂肪移動術は、表皮側を切開して余分な脂肪を切除するハムラ法と比べると、ダウンタイムは比較的短い方だと言えます。まず、経結膜的眼窩脂肪移動術は切開した部分を縫合しないことがほとんどなので、抜糸をするために通院する必要はありません。そして、腫れや内出血や痛みに関しては個人差があります。腫れは1週間程続きますが、そこから数日かけて徐々にに引いていきます。しかし、白目に結膜浮腫が出てしまった場合は、腫れももう少し長引き、長い方では2～3ヶ月続く方もいます。内出血が出た場合は、2週間程で治まります。手術の翌日からメイクも可能なので、内出血もメイクで隠すことが出来ます。ダウンタイム期間中は痛みを感じる方もいるので、その場合は、冷たいタオルやアイスパックなどで患部を冷やすと痛みが和らぎますし、クリニックで処方された鎮痛剤を服用するのも効果的です。しかし、一番重要なのは、激しい運動などは控えて出来るだけ安静にして過ごすことです。
