イデバエ注射のデメリットは効果が出るまでに時間がかかるということです。リフトアップ手術などの場合にはすぐに望んでいた効果が出ますが、イデバエ注射の場合には 4回の施術を1クールとして治療を行っていきます。抗酸化作用のあるイデベノンという成分や、筋肉を収縮させるDMAEという成分を注射することにより肌を活性化したりたるみを取ったりする方法なので、施術後ある程度効果は現れますが、事前に望んでいたほどの効果が実感できるまでには時間がかかります。即効性を期待する人の場合には他の治療法を選んだ方が良いでしょう。また1週間ごとに4回クリニックに通わなくてはいけないため、忙しい人や近くにクリニックがない人の場合には通うのが難しい場合があります。注射だけなら10分程度で終わりますが、イデバエ注射は痛みが強いため麻酔を使って治療を行う必要があり施術時間は40分程度かかります。入院などの必要はなく治療後は化粧をして帰ることもできます。
デメリットは効果が永久的ではない
イデバエ注射のもう1つのデメリットは効果が永久的ではないということです。手術などの場合にはリフトアップ効果が半永久的に続きますが、イデバエ注射は薬剤により肌細胞の若返りをサポートしたり代謝を促進させる方法です。その為半年～1年程度で再び老化が始まっていきます。
しかし手術ではないため肌に傷が残ることはありません。また徐々に若返りやリフトアップ効果が出てくるため美容整形をして若返ったと他の人に知られずにすむというメリットはあります。効果が薄れてきた時に再びイデバエ注射をすれば若返った状態をキープすることができます。シワやたるみはもちろんですが美肌になるためシミやニキビを改善することもでき、顔だけではなく首のしわや消えにくい妊娠線などにも効果があります。
腫れなどは少ない治療法ですが治療直後には顔に赤味がさしたり腫れたりすることがあります。数時間程度で消えますが、内出血した場合には消えるまでに1週間程度かかります。
