リフトアップとは引っ張り上げるということですが、美容整形の分野では主に顔のしわやたるみを無くすために顔の筋肉を引っ張り上げる美容整形術を指します。スタンダードなものとしては皮膚の一部を切開して筋肉を糸を使って引っ張り上げるようにしたものが主流でしたが切開を伴うためリスクがあるのがデメリットでした。一方でお手軽に行えるのがボトックス注射やヒアルロン酸注射などを用いて行う切らないリフトアップです。しかしいずれの方法も効果が限定的で、また糸で引っ張り上げるわけではないので仕上がりにやや難があります。
これらの欠点を克服したのが3Dリフトと呼ばれる方法です。3Dリフトとは特殊な加工がされた体内に吸収される糸を用いて行う美容整形術のひとつになります。皮膚を切開せずに糸でリフトアップすることが可能なのが最大の特徴であり、また特殊加工された糸により従来の糸にくらべて引っ張り上げる力が強くまた効果も高いため、しわやたるみを効果的に改善することができます。
リフトアップする方向が比較的自由に選べる
3Dリフトのメリットとしては皮膚を切開しなくて済むということで、また切開を伴わないのでリフトアップする方向が比較的自由に選べるということがあります。従来のリフトアップと3Dリフトが異なるポイントとしてはその糸にあります。
通常の糸は表面に何も加工されていませんが、3Dリフトで使われるものは、両端に円錐状のコーンが取り付けられており、これが返しとなるとことで両端が皮膚に引っかかりやすくする仕組みとなっています。このため従来の糸に比べて引っ張り上げる力を強くすることができます。また糸やコーンを埋め込むと周囲にコラーゲン生成が促進されるため美肌効果も得ることができます。
またメスを使わないのでダウンタイムはほぼ不要で施術も１０分から１５分程度と短期間で済ませることができます。一方で糸は体内に吸収される糸であるため糸が吸収されてしまうとその効果は失われますが、異物が体内に残らないので将来における異物が体内の留まることで発生する感染症リスクを限りなくゼロにすることができます。
