前額リフトとは、眉毛リフトとも呼ばれおでこ部分の皮膚をリフトアップする方法です。一般的な前額リフトとしては髪の毛の生え際を切開して縫合し皮膚を引っ張りあげる仕組みであるため切る美容整形術になります。おでこのしわを消すことで若々しい印象を与えることができるのがメリットですが、切開を伴うため名医に依頼する必要があります。

前額リフトのうち切開をともなう方法では縫合跡が残ることになります。名医であれば綺麗な縫合をしてくれるので目立ちませんが、傷ついた皮膚はメラニン色素が定着しないため、その部分だけ色が白くなります。白人や髪の毛の色が薄い人種であればこの傷跡は殆ど目立ちませんが、日本人のように黒髪や浅黒い肌であればその傷跡が大きく目立つことになります。このため、前髪を下ろすなどして隠す工夫が必要になります。一方で内視鏡による前額リフトの場合には小さな穴を開けてそこから施術を行うので縫合跡が目立たないメリットがあります。
