前額リフトは、フェイスリフトアップのひとつで、いわゆるおでこにあたる部分のしわやたるみを取り除くものです。
前額リフトの仕組みとしては、主に生え際付近を切開して縫合することで皮膚を引っ張るということです。
しかし、生え際の場合には縫合跡が目立つため髪の毛の生えている頭頂部から両耳に掛けてのラインを切開して縫合する方法や内視鏡を用いて皮膚や筋肉を引っ張る方法などがあります。
いずれにしてもその効果としてはおでこ部分のしわやたるみを改善することができますし、目尻のしわや上まぶたのたるみも改善することができます。
仕組みとしては単純なものですが、切開を伴う方法であるので費用の相場としては６０万円から８０万円程度とされています。
また単純におでこのしわを取り除くというのであれば効果的ですが、そのほかの場所でしわやたるみが残ってしまうと、不自然な形になるリスクがあります。このため前額リフトを行うさいには全体のバランスを考慮することが必要になります。
ボトックス注射との効果の比較
前額リフトは効果的な美容整形術ですが、その一方でボトックス注射などに取って代わられる傾向にあります。
ボトックス注射の場合には筋肉の働きを抑えることでしわやたるみを改善することができるもので、傷跡が残らないのがメリットといえます。
ただしボトックス注射の場合には効果が短いのがデメリットともいえ、ある程度の期間の効果を得たい場合には前額リフトを行う方が有利といえます。
一方で前額リフトを行う上での最大のデメリットが手術を伴う美容整形術であるということです。手術では医師の技量によっては縫合跡が目立つリスクがありますし、副作用や後遺症といったリスクもあります。
ボトックス注射でも神経を傷つけるリスクはありますが、広い範囲を切開する場合にはそのリスクはかなり高まります。
また術後のダウンタイムも２週間程度必要で抜糸も必要です。このため経験を積んだ医師やアフターケアの整った美容クリニックを選ぶ必要があります。
額のしわやたるみが解消する利点
額のしわやたるみは、年齢以上に老けた印象になることが多く、特に最近は、若い人でもしわが目立つ人やたるみが進んでいる人が多くなってきていますので、若い人にもリフトアップを希望する人が増えてきています。
額をリフトアップすると、眉毛の位置が下がってくることや瞼の重さも軽減するため、若々しい表情になり、明るく見えるようになります。
