シミやそばかすの治療法の一つとして知られるのがトレチノイン・ハイドロキノンです。シミの原因は肌内部に残って色素沈着してしまったメラニン色素です。本来はターンオーバーとともに徐々に肌上部に押し上げられて最終的に垢となって排出されるはずのメラニン色素ですが、加齢やストレスが原因となって肌内部に残ったままになることがあります。これがそのまま色素沈着したものがシミなのです。
トレチノイン・ハイドロキノンはそんなシミをなかったことにしてくれます。メリットは外用薬を塗るだけでいいという点です。シミ治療として有名なレーザー治療ですが、肌を焼くという荒行のため、治療を避けている方が多いようです。それがトレチノイン・ハイドロキノンであれば、気になる部分に塗るだけでシミをなかったことにできるのです。もちろん治療中や治療後の肌ケアは重要ですが、レーザーよりも肌への負担が少ないですし、費用も安いことから、治療を受けやすいのです。
メリットは外用薬を塗るだけでシミをなくす点
トレチノイン・ハイドロキノンのメリットは外用薬を塗るだけでシミをなかったことにできる点です。レーザー照射の場合、傷痕が治るまでは専用の絆創膏を貼る必要があります。通常。シミ治療をするのは顔など目立つ部分でしょうから、そこに絆創膏となると目立ちます。周囲に「どうしたの？」といわれる可能性が高いのです。それに対してトレチノイン・ハイドロキノンであればシミを焼くわけではないので、いきなり絆創膏はいりません。クリームで徐々に皮をはがしていくので安心です。
ただ、皮がむけるのは確実なことは知っておきましょう。日焼けで皮がむけるような感じです。体ならいいですが、顔がこの状態になるので、周囲になにか言われる可能性もあります。皮がむけている途中の肌は非常にデリケートなので、日焼け止めは必須ですし使える化粧品も限定されます。トレチノイン・ハイドロキノンであっても皮がむけないことにはシミは治らないことは知っておきましょう。
