回数がかさみやすい
スペクトラが、シミやそばかす、タトゥー除去、炎症性のニキビなどといった従来のレーザー治療器の効果だけでなく、肝斑の治療にも効果がある理由は、スペクトラを使用することでルートロトーニング治療ができるためです。
ルートロトーニング治療では、シミやそばかすなどの治療で用いる場合より低い出力で、なおかつ時間を可能な限り短くレーザーの照射を行います。これにより、メラニン生成のもとになる細胞であるメラノサイトへの刺激を極力抑えながら、肝斑が生成される原因となっているメラニンだけを除去することができます。肝斑を完全に除去するためには10回前後は施術を受けなければなりませんが、麻酔が不要で、1回あたりの治療時間も数分程度であり、施術終了後のダウンタイムも短時間で済むため、身体にかかる負担は少ないです。
ただし、スペクトラによる治療が成功するには、医師がシミと肝斑を正しく見分けた上で、正しい出力でレーザーを照射する必要があります。判別に失敗するとレーザー照射の効果がほとんどなく、かえって色素沈着が悪化してしまうことがあります。
