スプリングアプトスとは特殊な糸をこめかみ辺りを切開して皮膚の下に入れ、たるみを引き上げる方法です。アプトスはポリプロピレンという素材から出来ています。その糸にはギザギザの加工がされていて、後戻りがしないような構造になっています。アプトスは頬に適していると言われています。従来のフェイスリフトのように大きく切開する必要がないのがスプリングアプトスの特徴です。そしてこの糸は外科手術でも使われている素材でもあります。そして糸には、吸収糸と非吸収糸の2種類があります。吸収糸の場合は1年程で溶けていきます。糸の周りにはコラーゲンが出来るので、リフト効果が持続しますが、非吸収の糸に比べると短いことがあります。先々糸が皮膚から出てくる心配はないです。非吸収は一生リフト効果は続きますが、化膿などの可能性はあります。次にダウンタイムや痛み内出血、腫れなどについても知っておかなければならないことが沢山あります。
ダウンタイムには、個人差
スプリングアプトスの術後の経過やダウンタイムには個人差がありますが、腫れとしては約2～3日目がピークとなり、約7～10日程度で大きな晴れなどは引いていきます。感染症や内出血などが起こった場合には腫れが長引く事もあります。痛みは糸のギザギザした部分が皮膚を引っ掛けて引き上げている状態ですので、針に刺されたようなチクチクとした痛みを感じることがあります。こめかみの筋膜部分に糸を固定するので、噛んだり、口を大きく開けたりすると痛んだりします。アイスパックや濡れたタオルなどで冷やすたりすると楽になります。内出血は細かい血管などが傷付いてしまうと、皮膚の下で出血をして糸を通した部分が紫色や緑色になってしまいますが、約1週間や3週間程で自然と無くなっていきます。メイクは治療箇所以外は翌日から可能です。スプリングアプトスの術後2週間から1ヶ月は禁煙した方がいいです。血液の循環が悪くなると傷口の治りも悪くなります。サウナや飲酒、激しい運動なども痛みがある間は控えて過ごして下さい。
