Qスイッチヤグレーザーは様々なシミやアザ、そばかすに対して有効な治療法として、広く行われてるレーザー治療法です。それ以外にもタトゥーの除去にも使われており、もともとはこちらが本来の用法でした。
使用するレーザーの波長は1064nmと532nmの二つがあります。それぞれに得意、不得意なものがありますが、1064ｎｍの波長のレーザーは、それまでのレーザーでは取り除くことができなかった、皮膚の深い部分になるメラニンを除去できる方法として、とても画期的な方法です。それまではQスイッチヤグレーザー以外にも、アレクサンドライトレーザーやQスイッチルビーレーザーなどによる治療が行われてきましたが、皮膚の奥深くのメラニンを除去できるのはこの方法のみです。
レーザー治療法は他の手術による治療法と比べると、失敗のリスクは少ないですが、万が一失敗した時のために、どのようなことが起こるのかも知っておく必要があります。
適切な波長の見極めをしないと失敗例も
Qスイッチヤグレーザーによる失敗は、まず出力の調整ミスによる火傷が考えられます。レーザーを皮膚に直接照射すると、照射中は輪ゴムではじいたようにチクチクした痛みが常にあります。その後は赤く腫れてそのうちかさぶたとなります。しかし火傷の場合は、術後の腫れや痛みも酷く、水膨れのような症状も現れることがあります。このような場合はすぐに医師に見せて対処してもらうようにしましょう。
またQスイッチヤグレーザーは適切二つの波長を使って治療するので、症状に合わせて適切な波長を選択する必要があります。特に肝斑という症状に対しては、1064nmの波長のレーザーが有効だということが分かっています。しかしそれ以外では有効性は確認されておらず、逆に刺激を与えてしまい余計とシミを濃くしてしまうことも多々あります。そのため、適切に患部に適切な波長で治療を行わなくてはなりません。
このような失敗はあくまでも可能性として起こりうるものです。事前の医師とのカウンセリングで、しっかりと話を聞いて自分の納得いく形で治療を行うようにしてください。
そんなのアリ？ヤグレーザーでの失敗、「効果が無い」
治療したのに効果が無いことがあります。
ヤグレーザーの治療を受けたのに、効果が無いと感じることもあります。
何層にも渡る深い部分からできているシミの場合は、一度の治療では薄くなりません。
また、肝斑の場合など、ヤグレーザーとの相性が良くないシミである可能性もあります。
シミと肝斑は見分けがつきにくく、医師でもたびたび間違えることが多いのです。
効果を感じられなかった場合は、医師に相談しましょう。
もう一度レーザーを受けるか、違う治療法を提案される場合があります。
シミが濃くなったり、新たな色素沈着を起こした
ヤグレーザーでのシミ取り治療には、副作用が伴います。
治療をすると、シミが濃くなったり、新たに色素沈着を起こしてしまう可能性があります。
これは日本人が「炎症後色素沈着」という症状が出やすい体質のために、レーザーを照射することで肌が炎症を起こし、シミのように色素が沈着してしまうのです。
または、診断ミスのため、レーザー治療が逆効果である肝斑に対して治療してしまった場合も、シミが濃くなったり色素沈着を起こします。
やけどのような炎症になってしまった
ヤグレーザーではかなり強い熱を照射することでメラニン色素を破壊します。
そのため、レーザーを当てた部分が赤くなったり、ヒリヒリとした痛みを感じることがあり、やけどのような炎症を起こしてしまうことがあります。
治療が終わると、クリニックでは傷用のテープで照射した部分を保護してくれます。
やけどのようになってしまった場合は、そのまま患部を触らないようにしましょう。
症状がひどい場合は、冷やすと楽になります。
シミ取り治療の名医とは
シミの治療はシミの種類によって治療法が異なるので、間違った治療法を行った場合は、効果がないどころか、悪化してしまうこともあります。
レーザーで確実な効果を得るためには、そのシミが本当にレーザーで治るシミなのかどうかの診断に全てがかかっていると言っても良いでしょう。
シミの種類を正確に診断し、その人の肌がどれくらいの照射に耐えることができるのかをきちんと見極めることができる医師が名医であると言えるでしょう。
