Qスイッチ・ルビ―レーザーは薄く小さいシミなら1回で終わりますが、大きさがある場合はある程度弱めの出力で、5回から6回に分けて行うのが普通です。これよりも少なめの回数で済ませる場合は火傷などのリスクが大きくなるので、医師との相談のうえ計画的に行うようにしましょう。
