エコ2とはニキビ跡レーザー治療で用いられる美容マシンで、ニキビやニキビ跡の他にも毛穴の開きやしわを目立たなくするといったことに適しています。エコ2ではレーザービームを細かく照射し、皮膚を剥離させて入れ替えることでこれらの症状を改善します。エコ2のレーザービームをソフトに照射した場合の痛みは小さな剣山を肌に当てた程度となりますが、ニキビ跡レーザー治療向けに強めに照射する場合には麻酔クリームを塗布します。治療の際に内出血は起こりませんが、治療後に赤みが出て顔全体が赤く腫れたようになります。これが治まるダウンタイムは1、2週間程となります。この他にも施術後は肌が弱くなっていて細菌の感染を防ぐために24時間以内の洗顔は不可とされます。またリスクとしては色素沈着と赤みが引かないことが挙げられ、これを防ぐためには紫外線対策と炎症を抑えるステロイド塗布がそれぞれの対策となります。また色素沈着が起こってしまった場合には、シミを取るハイドロキノンクリームなどが処方されます。
治療の経過
ニキビ跡レーザー治療に用いられる主な美容マシンは、エコ2と呼ばれるレーザー治療器で、ニキビ跡の他にも小じわや毛穴の開きなどに用いることができます。ニキビ跡レーザー治療にかかる費用の目安は両頬で6万円、顔全体で8万円からとなります。エコ2のダウンタイムは1、2週間程となりその間は照射したパーツに赤みが強く出ます。加えてレーザーを強めに照射した場合にはダウンタイムは更に長くなり、2週間から4週間程かかることもあります。治療の際に内出血は起こりませんが、治療後に赤みやそれに伴う腫れが顕著にあらわれ、1週間ほどでかさぶたになり剥がれた後は新しい皮膚に生まれ変わります。しかしながら徐々に治っていく段階では、かさぶたを引っ掻いて剥がさないようにします。また1回で強めにレーザーを照射すると効果と同様にリスクも高くなるため、回数を重ねて適切なレーザーの強さで治療します。痛みはソフトに照射する場合には小さな剣山を当てたように感じますが、ニキビ跡レーザー治療のために強く照射する場合には、麻酔クリームを塗り痛みを感じにくくして治療します。
