また、術後に患部を不衛生にしておいてしまうと、そこから細菌が入り込んで感染してしまう恐れもあります。
アフターケアの面では、まずは患部を衛生的に保つことを心がけるようにしましょう。クリニックの環境を事前に見学させてもらうことも大切です。

他にも、切らないフェイスリフトでは術後のダウンタイムが長引いてしまうことがあります。

通常は内出血は1週間、腫れは2〜3週間で引きます。しかし、まだ洗顔を許されていない時に洗顔してしまったり、メイクやピーリング剤などを使ってしまうと、ダウンタイムが長引いてしまうことがあります。
特に中顔面という目の下の位置は血管や神経が太いので、ここから太めの糸を入れた場合には、術後に皮膚を優しく扱うことが重要になります。
切らないフェイスリフトというと切る方法に比べてリスクが低いと思われがちですが、体に異物を入れる以上はなんらかのリスクは伴います。
体内で自然に溶ける糸を使った場合でも、溶けない糸を使った場合でも同様にリスクがあるので、気をつけましょう。
