頬のこけの美容整形方法には、ヒアルロン酸や自己組織（脂肪）を注入して物理的に膨らませる方法があります。注入による美容整形は切る手術に比べて気軽にできるイメージがありますが、そうとは言い切れません。
まず脂肪の場合は、凸凹になってしまったり、脂肪が定着しないなどの失敗のリスクがあります。
修正の時に気をつけたいのは、局所的な脂肪注入をしていないか、カニューレ（脂肪吸引するための金属管）の太さは適当か、といったことです。局所的に脂肪を入れてしまうと、血液が注入した組織にいかなくなるので、細胞が死んでそれが石灰化してしまう可能性があります。石灰化するとしこりができてしまいます。
カニューレが太すぎると、採取した脂肪の粒が大きくなって、うまく血液が行き渡らなくなって細胞が石灰化してしまうことがあります。
頬のこけの美容整形を脂肪注入で行う場合には、石灰化するような方法を採用していないクリニックかどうかを確認しておく必要があります。

ヒアルロン酸注射で頬のこけの美容整形をして失敗してしまった場合、効果がない場合には再注入、入れすぎて血液障害が生じているような場合にはヒアルロン酸分解注射を行います。
失敗すると皮膚が壊死してしまうこともあり、この場合にはその部分を切除するような再建手術が必要になる可能性もあります。
ヒアルロン酸注射による頬のこけの美容整形は、プチ整形などと言われていて簡単そうに聞こえてしまいますが、膨らみすぎたり、血行障害が起きたり、壊死、凸凹やしこりなどができてしまうこともあります。
こうなると修正が必要になります。
また同じように失敗されてしまわないためにも、レントゲンを使って検査してくれたり、模型で説明してくれるようなカウンセリングに力を入れているクリニックを選ぶことが大切です。
