ギャラクシーは銀河といった意味があり、さまざまな商品にその名称が使われています。美容整形の分野でも同様で、ギャラクシーはフォトファーム治療法を行う装置の名称として使われ、また治療法そのものの一般名詞にもなっています。
内容としては、ダイオードレーザーとRFと呼ばれるバイポーラ高周波を同時に出すことができるものです。ダイオードレーザーは医療用レーザーであり、シミなどを効果的に分解する機能を持っており、またレーザー脱毛にも用いられているものです。一方で肝となるのがバイポーラ高周波で、このバイポーラ高周波では、赤色と茶色といった色に強く反応するためダイオードレーザーでは対応できない薄いシミにも効果的に作用し、このほかくすみや赤ら顔の改善にすることができます。
基本的にギャラクシーはしみなどを取り除く美顔のための装置であり、仕上がりが大きく変化することがなく修正するといった必要のない施術方法になります。
腕次第で後遺症が残る
ギャラクシーは、安全性の高い装置ですが、医療機器であるため失敗するリスクがゼロではないとい点に留意する必要があります。ひとつは、体質によっては施術後の赤みが引かないケースがあります。また技術的なミスとしては過度に照射し続けることでやけどのようなあとが残ってしまうといったものがあります。これらの修正の場合にはギャラクシー以外の方法で行う必要があります。いずれにしても後遺症が出ないようにするためにも信頼できる医師を選ぶべきですし、後遺症が出た場合のアフターケアの整ったクリニックを選ぶ必要があります。
一方でダウンタイムは１週間前後ですが、切開などを伴わないため、すぐに日常生活に戻ることが可能です。なおギャラクシーを受ける相場としては、部位や面積によって変わってきますが、１万円前後です。ただし治療中には痛みが出るため、麻酔クリームなどを塗る場合には、その分の費用が別途で必要になります。また１度で効果を得られることは少ないため数回程度、施術を受ける必要があります。
