失敗例と後悔
ゴールデンリフトは、純金の糸を皮膚に埋め込む手術です。美貌で知られている古代エジプトの女王クレオパトラも、金の糸を美容のために使用していたと伝えられています。

そして、ゴールデンリフトは、純度の高い純金の糸を体内に埋め込むことによって、様々なメリットが得られる手術ですが、もしこの金の糸に不純物が混ざっていたら、副作用や後遺症が残って失敗してしまう可能性があります。
失敗してしまうケースは、金の糸に不純物が混ざっていたことが原因になることも多いです。そのため、ゴールデンリフトを成功させるためには、金の純度と、信頼できる医師かどうかが重要になるのです。
また、金属アレルギーで顔の表面や首などが、赤くなったり腫れてしまったりすることがあるので、注意が必要です。

金の糸(ゴールデンリフト)をしたのに、ハリや弾力アップ効果が持続しないケースがあります。そもそも金の糸でリフトアップできるのは、傷の創傷過程を利用しています。何かで肌に傷ができた場合、その傷を治そうと周辺の皮膚が盛り上がるのですが、これが肌内部でも起こっているのです。ただ、その傷自体が治ってしまうとその盛り上がりもなくなります。肌内部の傷が治ればこの盛り上がりもなくなるので、元の肌状態に戻ってしまうのです。
純金でないことによる感染とアレルギーも考えられます
ゴールデンリフトは金の糸を皮膚に挿入することで、肌のターンオーバーを促進し、肌全体を若返らせることができます。針で挿入するだけなので、切る必要がなく、施術時間は30分くらいで終わります。
また、術後の痛みや腫れが起こりにくいので、体への負担が少ない施術です。
しかしながら、安い費用で行っている医療機関では、粗悪な金の糸を使っている場合があります。純度の低い金の糸を使用すると、後遺症が残るリスクがあるので注意しなければいけません。
金の糸(ゴールデンリフト)には純金でないことによる感染とアレルギーも考えられます。純金とは言っても100％何の混じりもない純金を作るのは今の技術をもっても不可能です。そのため本当に微量ですが、不純物が含まれる金の糸を肌内部に埋め込むことになります。この不純物による感染の可能性もありますし、感染とまではいかなくてもそれをアレルゲンとみなす、アレルギー反応が出る可能性もあるわけです。
糸が透けて見える失敗という症例
金の糸はその名の通り、金色をしています。肌の色に若干は似ていますが、実際の色はかなり異なります。そのため肌内部に埋め込む際、肌の浅い部分に埋め込んでしまうことで、肌から糸が透けて見える失敗の可能性もあります。
失敗したら糸を抜けばいいと安易に考えられているかもしれませんが、糸の周りにはコラーゲンなどの皮膚組織が作られるので、引き抜くというより剥がし取る方法になり、かなりの大手術となるのです。
