シミやそばかすというのは、皮膚の中に増えるメラニン色素の量によって引き起こされる症状です。メラニン色素は黒や茶色に近い濃い色をしていますので、この色素が集まることで、皮膚表面にぼんやり、もしくははっきりとしたシミやそばかすなどを作り出します。くすみといった色素も同じ原因が隠されています。
美容的な悩みとしてよく知られるシミやそばかすを治療する手段があります。美容クリニックで用いられる高度な機器を利用すれば、治療が可能です。Eライトという医療用の機器がありますが、シミやそばかす、くすみを改善するのにその力を大いに発揮してくれます。
光と高周波をかけあわせて皮膚の奥にあるメラニン色素を薄くしてくれますので、症状の改善が可能ですが、Eライトはメラニン色素に反応して熱を作り出す特殊なレーザーを照射しますので、照射する部分に痛みが感じられるようになります。このようなデメリットがありますので、注意してください。
Eライトのデメリットとは
Eライトの痛みは、照射レベルによって変化します。出力が強いほど痛みが出ますが、その痛みはゴムで弾かれたような感覚に近いものがあります。
他のデメリットとしては、1回限りの施術では症状の改善が望めないことが多くなっています。Eライトは皮膚の奥に熱処理をしますので、軽いやけど状態になります。このやけどがすぐに元通りになる程度の出力に調整しながら施術を行いますので、その分だけ治療の効果が弱まってしまいます。
何回か通院をしている内に、費用がかさんでしまうという問題が起こりやすくなっています。必ず治療が終わるまでのトータルの費用で計算することを心がけましょう。
濃いシミやそばかすには有効なEライトですが、薄い色素の改善にはあまり効果を発揮してくれません。黒くて濃い色素に反応するように開発された機器だからです。
日焼けした肌の人や、日光過敏症の人だと、安全面を考慮して治療を受けられない場合がありますので、気を付けましょう。
