Eマックスとは、レーザー治療機器の名称で、肌のしわ、くすみ、そばかすなどの原因となるメラニンを破壊し美肌にすることができる装置です。Eマックスでは、光エネルギー（IPL）と、高周波エネルギー（ラジオ波／RF）の２つのエネルギーを同時に照射することで、皮膚の奥深くまで浸透しメラニンを分解することができます。また高周波エネルギーは真皮層まで届くため、コラーゲンの活性化を促すことができ、肌のハリや小じわの改善にも効果があります。
このほかにも皮膚細胞への刺激が活性化されることで、ニキビやニキビ跡の改善や、フェイスラインの引き締めといったものにも効果があります。一方で料金相場は行なわれる部位や範囲によって変わってきますが、おおむね２万円から３万円前後で受けることが可能です。一方で１回では効果が出にくいのがレーザー照射による治療で、多くは３回または５回をセット料金としており、５回セットの場合には１０万円程度が料金相場となっています。

なお、料金相場は１回あたり２万円前後となっていますが、その治療内容はクリニックで大きく異なってきます。このため治療を受けるさいには、どのような効果があるのかといった事前の説明ができるクリニックを選ぶことが失敗のリスクを避ける上で重要になります。
