炭酸ガスレーザーのデメリットは、レベルの低いクリニックで受けてしまうとダウンタイムが長引いたり、傷跡が残ってしまう可能性があるところです。
直径3mmまでのほくろやイボ取りに有効な治療法で、メスを使った治療法に比べると出血や傷跡が残るリスクが低いですが、レーザーの威力が強いので扱いがうまいクリニックで受けないと不具合が起こる可能性があります。
処置後には3日程度赤みが続きますが、それは徐々に回復していくものです。しかし、失敗してしまうと赤みが消えずに真っ赤になってしまうことがあります。

色素沈着によるシミは、にきび跡を治療しようとしたらかえって、茶色いシミや水疱の跡のようになってしまった、というケースで生じる可能性があります。
これらのデメリットを理解して、炭酸ガスレーザーを受けるかどうか決める必要があります。
クリニックによっては絶対に失敗しないと謳っているところもありますが、本当かどうかは美容医療の相談所などで情報を集めてから判断したほうが良いです。
