炭酸ガスレーザーは、水に吸収されやすい性質を利用してほくろやイボを除去します。
仕上がりをきれいにするためには、アフターケアが大切です。
方法としては、患部に軟膏を盛るようにして塗り、保護テープで乾燥するのを防ぎます。乾燥させてしまうと細胞が死んでしまう可能性があるので、気をつけます。
こうしておけば、次第に穴がふさがって平らになっていきます。
2週間程度たったら保護テープをはがして、紫外線対策をします。紫外線対策をしないとシミになってしまう原因になります。
個人差がありますが、だいたい半年で除去が完了します。
軟膏と保護テープを使わないでいると炭酸ガスレーザーの跡が穴になって残ってしまうので、注意しましょう。
軟膏は施術したクリニックから処方されるのが普通です。乾燥を防いだり、傷の治りを早めるような効果があるので、治るまでは患部は乾燥させないように気をつけるようにしましょう。
患部はしばらくはこするなど強い刺激を与えないように注意が必要です。
術後しばらくは乾燥させないようにアフターケア
炭酸ガスレーザーは、術後しばらくは乾燥させないようにアフターケアをする必要があります。これを怠るとニキビ跡のように穴が残ってしまいます。
クリニックによっては、アフターケアを細かく教えてくれるところもあります。あまり詳しく教えてもらえないようであれば、美容整形の相談機関などに相談してみるのも良いでしょう。
照射部位はかさぶたになって、2〜3週間で自然に剥がれ落ちます。自分で無理にかさぶたを剥がしてしまうのは絶対にやめましょう。
また、炭酸ガスレーザー照射後は外部からの刺激に弱くなっているので、紫外線対策もしっかり行うことが大切です。対策用のクリームを塗ったり、UVケア用の帽子やパーカーなどを身につけて行動すると安心です。
除去するほくろやイボの大きさによっても異なりますが、基本的には2〜3週間までは乾燥に気をつけて軟膏と保護テープを使ってケアをするようにしましょう。
炭酸ガスレーザーは比較的安全な施術ですが、医師の腕によって仕上がりが異なる可能性もあるので注意しましょう。
