顔のたるみに非常に有効とされている施術が、こめかみリフトです。これは文字通り、こめかみ付近の生え際、または頭髪の生えている部分の頭皮を切開して、皮膚と皮膚の中の筋膜を引き上げてから、切開部分を縫合すると言う施術です。直接、筋肉を引き上げるために高い効果を期待することができると言うわけです。特に生え際に近い目尻のしわやたるみには、効果的だとされています。ちなみに傷口に関しては、頭髪によって隠されてしまうため、ほとんど目立つことはないと言われています。施術自体は、クリニックや施術者の腕にもよりますが、だいたい1～2時間程度、術後は止血のためにバンドで圧迫処理を行うので、全体では3時間程度かかるのが一般的です。圧迫のためのバンド、包帯は術後も5日程度は装着し続けます。こめかみ部分に切開を伴うため、こめかみリフトにおいてはダウンタイムが発生すると言うことは、頭に入れておく必要があります。また痛みや腫れ、内出血が出ることも少なくありません。
ダウンタイムの長さは人により差異
こめかみリフトのダウンタイムの長さは人により異なります。それぞれ詳しく見ていくと、まず痛みに関しては術後直後は強く、その後はじょじょに落ち着いていくのが普通です。しかし痛みが引かない、強い場合は、原因が別のところにあることも考えられます。たとえば傷口が感染してしまっていたり、皮膚が壊死してしまっていると言ったことです。それから内出血です。これは皮膚下の細かい血管が傷つくために発生するもので、だいたい2週間から1ヶ月程度で消失していくのが通常です。目の表面に出てくると、白目が充血したように見えることもありますが、これもだいたい2週間前後で消失するとされています。最後に腫れに関しては、目立つ腫れは1～2週間くらいで引いていきます。ただし傷の下で大量の血液が溜まってしまっていると言う場合は引きませんし、瘤のように腫れあがることも考えられます。このようにこめかみリフトのダウンタイムに出てくるいずれの症状も、時間が経過しても引かない、我慢できないくらい強いと言う場合は、原因が深いところにあることも考えられます。ですからこのような場合は、我慢しないで早急にクリニックに相談する必要があります。
